Welcome to Calne Tennis Club. We are an LTA-affiliated club and members of all standards are very welcome to join us. We have two hard courts at the Recreation Ground in Anchor Road and the use of the MUGA court at Beversbrook Sports Ground in the winter months, which is floodlit. We also use the indoor sports hall Beversbrook if the weather is bad.

For members who seek competitive play, we enter men's, ladies and mixed teams in the local tennis league. We also enter a mixed team in the Winter league so members can play all year round.

For the summer 2012 season we have an adult social evening on Fridays at the recreation courts in Anchor Road from 6pm, and an adult and junior social on Sundays from 10am.

We have a very active junior section which is lead under the guidance of our club coach, Phil Kerley. Year-round coaching sessions for 4 years upwards are provided Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (time depends on age ability).
We also offer adult coaching for beginners and intermediate level.

We are a very friendly and social club and are always looking for new members. The club is run entirely by volunteers and we would like to see more members involved. Please let a committee member know if you are able to help us with expertise or interested in joining our committee.

Since 2010 the tennis club has rapidly grown mainly due to the coaching we can now offer. We currently have around 80 juniors on our coaching programmes and looking to increase this number in 2013 by offering taster sessions in schools and holding an open day. We also hope to attract more adult members to the club by offering social and league tennis, inter-club tournaments and social events.

As a result the club has now outgrown it's current venue at the Recreation Ground and we are working closely with Calne Town Council and the LTA with plans for a move to Beversbrook. Beversbrook sports facility is a perfect location for tennis and we hope to have four floodlit tennis courts in the near future.

In August 2011 Calne Tennis Club achieved Clubmark status awarded by the LTA.
