COACHING STATUS

EASTER THEMED FUN SOCIAL TOURNAMENT "Eggs, Bunnies and Bonnets!" was held on Sunday 24th March. Great morning of tennis with close matches. Well done to winner Pav and runner up Phyllis. See our 'SOCIAL TENNIS' tab for photos.
Our next Fun tournament is on Sunday 19th May, "Croissants, Baguettes and Brie" to celebrate Roland Garros 2024.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership fees for new joiners for the period 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 are now available on the 'Membership' tab.
If you're not sure about signing up for several months, but want more than an occasional hour of Pay & Play, then check-out our 1-monthly Short Term Membership category via the 'Membership' tab - only £25 a month with some refunds if you subsequently join as a full member.
AGM
The Club's AGM took place on Wednesday 28th February. Minutes have been emailed to members. Please note that Sara Allen has now taken over from Claire Bielby as the Club's Chair.
SAFEGUARDING

Junior Coaching
Our junior group coaching programme is currently provided at our courts by Sid Falconer, LTA Accredited Level 3 coach, on Wednesdays. Sid is a former coach at Calne Tennis Club, he is an extremely effective performance coach, excellent with children and was formerly British Deaf Tennis Champion.
Our new Junior Coaching term started on 17th April for 6 weeks and can be joined at any time; the fee is reduced pro rata. Please go to the Junior Coaching tab for more information and to book.

Pay & Play
We welcome non-members of the club to 'Play & Play' on our courts. Available courts can be booked for an hour for a total (excluding floodlights) of £10 for singles or doubles play. Floodlights will be necessary at £2 per 30 minutes from around 7.00pm from 1st April. Please click on the 'Court Booking' Tab and follow the Pay & Play instructions for registration, court selection, floodlights and payment. Pay & Play is available as follows:
Monday and Thursday from 9am to 6pm; Tuesday & Friday from 9am to 9pm; Wednesday 9am to 1pm & 7pm to 9pm; Saturday 9am to 5.00pm; and Sunday from 12.30pm to 5.00pm.

The club is an LTA registered venue and is run and maintained, on a voluntary basis, by members of the club. It is a great place to play, whatever your ability. Whether you are looking to compete in one of our league teams, play socially at our club sessions or tournaments, play with other members whenever you choose, improve your game with our club coach, or all of the above, we will have something for you.
We have 4 floodlit hard courts making play possible all year round. You are most welcome to come along and join in a free taster session where you will receive a friendly welcome. See our Social Tennis & League Tennis pages for more information.
We offer individual memberships or family options and our junior and adult coaching programmes provide opportunities to learn or improve your tennis. Coaching sessions are available from tots to adults, and our club coach also offers individual and group lessons for all ages and abilities. Membership
Calne Tennis Club offers a variety of membership packages to suit individuals and families.
Memberships are managed online. To join as a new member you will need to register or sign in with Clubspark. You will then be able to join Calne Tennis Club online and make payments. If you are not a member of ClubSpark then you will receive information on how to register when you click on your selected membership option.
Full Members may use the courts free of charge at any time (subject to availability), take part in club sessions and tournaments and have the opportunity to represent the club in competitive league matches.
Junior Membership is split into categories 5-10 and 11-17 year olds. Juniors can use the courts at any time (subject to availability), Those aged 13 years and below must be accompanied by an adult (on or adjacent to the court being used). We also have Tots membership for 2-4 year olds at a nominal cost and this includes free 30 minute coaching session once a week when available.
The club prefers everyone on the coaching programme or taking individual lessons to be a member of Calne Tennis Club. Those who would like to take part in coaching without membership will be required to pay a small supplement (included in the non-member's coaching fee) towards club insurance, administration and maintenance of the facilities.
